Ok everyone has been so busy doing great pictures you are making me feel like a dud.  Still in the yard working again today to close the garden down (think I logged five hours between yesterday and today) so being as I am old it tires me out, so no energy to create today.
I have started working through the art classes on wet canvas, started with #1, the basics and boy is it harder than you think and quite the humbling experience too.  But think I will have better drawing skills once I've completed them and already learning many tips.   Just in the drawing and sketching section there are 33 beginner lessons and another  19 intermediate.  Their library is awesome and best thing is it's FREE - just your time and practice, practice, practice.
A couple of weeks ago Rita did inspire me (thank you, Rita) about getting organized in the art space.  I have had this idea about hanging my coffee cans (or oatmeal, whatever :)) so that I could get my pencils off of my workspace but still have easy access to them (they kept sneaking down the table eating up my space).  So I got a small curtain rod, made some "S" hooks out of wire and got that put up today, so far the wall is still standing so I guess I got them nailed into something solid.  Next step will be to paint them in bright colors, probably whatever color the pencils are in the cans.  I kept the plastic top on the bottom of the can and hope that acts as a bumper so that my wall doesn't get really marked up.  Looks good to me, but will see how it functions and if usability is good or drives me crazy.
Hope everyone has a great painting week and thanks for stopping by.

Hello and welcome back Nelvia!
I hope that the new organization will bring more ease of operation. I had you in my blog roll but for reasons I do not know you were gone ... this morning I restored blogger and now I see your updates soon! The portrait of Abbey is wonderful,so suspended between reality and the feeling!
The new course will be interesting to follow in order to introduce new tecniques in your work.

Network offers plenty of opportunities free ... that is not free is our time and our forces!
As for the watercolor, you can find many free demo (also on magallanesblogspot) but it would take months of work to follow!
Thank you very much for your kindness!!!

Well I have been so lucky to get free art supplies over the years. Have saved them thinking someday I would use them. Your painting my dear is over by my computer so I see you every day darling. Makes me happy.

Who knows the ways of these computers, but I am glad I am back. I am making some adjustments on Abby and hope I am getting her back -not giving up yet.

Am sure it isn't as much fun as your pottery space. I love what you do on the rocks and hope someday too I can live in the mountains. Let's see if I can keep the space that clean for ah, say a week? Only if I don't go in

Forgot to say that the picture on the right is a picture of my marriage. Two different people coming together to make one something that is better. There are several Chinese characters for happiness, good life

I LOVE seeing the workspaces of others! That should be an art challenge... "Show a photo of where you create art!"
