Here is the collage of paintings that I did for the week 2 of Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days challenge.  I am not sure why, but it seemed to be a bit easier this week.  Guess it was a bit more planning in advance of the painting day that helped to get it through.  It has been still an emotional roller coaster of feeling good when a painting comes together to being down when you think it's not, although finding that desperation definitely helps get something you like.
So much to learn from all the other artists who are making it look easy and are doing such wonderful paintings.  Nice way to gauge, however, where you are in comparison to lots of others and what types of themes they are picking and how they are achieving getting there.
Getting optimistic that I will make it to the end and know that I am glad to be getting something on paper.  Some I am quite pleased with, others tell me there is a long way to go.  But isn't that the best part of painting, knowing you never can be done?
Thanks for stopping by, know that some of you are in the challenge with me, have a great time painting this week.

cant agree with your thesis about the long way 100%. I think you are on a level, where some pieces are really really great. just thinking about goldfish. Most artpieces will be average, some bad. But that is the level we two play in, and that is the reason why we cannot command prices like Lucian Freud or daVinci. On the other hand we get satisfaction and a great deal of joy out of it. And the we hit the end of the journey. :)

Hey there how is one of my best buds today? I know they can't all be good, but would like a few more. Also want to get it on paper as I see it in my head. Don't want to see the journey's end any time soon, so will keep on struggling:). Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks Hilda, I had to think about it a couple of times before I said ok. Then, as you can tell I was still thinking about it. But so far glad I did this as it has pushed me to grow and surprised me that I can and am doing it.
